They used the Orange Filter? You’re telling me the Sentai show they chose to take footage from was the silly-as-fuck Go-Onger???? The one where the villains were the literal CEOs of pollution???????
I am currently watching the first episode and this is deadass filmed like the bastard child of a Fast and Furious movie, an episode of Breaking Bad, and every movie filmed in the USA in the year 2009
If I didn’t tell you what this is I’d be hard-pressed to convince anyone the first 15 minutes of this aren’t just taken from a prescient SYFY ripoff of Fury Road made in 2009
RPM is kinda hilarious and incredible in it’s concept because it set out to intentionally appeal to an older audience with a dark post-apocalypic setting…and it’s Super Sentai source footage had mechs that looked like this

Also, the producer brought onto this did not know that Go-Onger was so silly and light-hearted and that this is what he’d be working with, leading to the following alleged response
I know I’ve shared this link before, but please take a few minutes to tell the US Federal Railroad Administration that we need more passenger trains. (Nicely! They know we need them and are gathering data for where they’ll get the most bang for their buck, so to speak.) If you don’t personally have any specific opinions on where trains are needed, please encourage them to reopen the old Amtrak Floridian line, because it would make my life so much nicer.
